The Southeastern Amateur Course (Columbus Country Club)

Hole 17
Uphill straight Par 5, 478 Yards

This reachable par 5 seems to be a gift from Mr. Ross. Although the uphill slope from tee to green adds a few yards, the green is still very reachable in two, and the bunkers around the 100 yard marker almost dare the player to go for it. A drive up the left side will open up the green.

It's easy to get in trouble off the tee on 17. The left side is tree lined with heavy rough. So if you are in trouble, lay up short of the bunkers.

This wide green is protected heavily on the right with a run off in the front and a deep face bunker just beyond that. The left side offers a bail out area but be sure to carry the fairway bunker on the left which ends about 50 yards from the green.
