The Southeastern Amateur Course (Columbus Country Club)

Hole 11
Downhill straight Par 4, 316 Yards

The 11th at CCC is probably the most photgraphed hole on the course. It has also provided some of the highest scores for one hole throughout the history of the course, including the Southeastern Amateur Tournament. It has been rumored that Mr. Jones incorporated the look of the bridge into the twelfth at Augusta.

The tee shot on the eleventh is drastically downhill to a large landing zone. The golfer of course has many options because of the length of the hole, including pulling out the big stick. Play to your strongest yardage for a comforable approach.

The approach into 11 is one that will test the best of players. The tiny green slopes from back to front and any ball spinning back in that direction is likely to find a watery grave. Just a few paces over the green is O.B. with collection areas front left, back left, and to the right.
